During the 21-22 of October, the Associação Portuguesa de Algologia Aplicada (APAA) Conference was held at CIIMAR (Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research of the University of Porto). EnhanceMicroAlgae was mentioned (presentation slide below) as one of the projects based on LEGE Culture Collection from CIIMAR. More information on this conference can be found here.
Futhermore, Diogo Cruz from FCUP/ CIIMAR / CIMAR Associate Laboratory has been representing the Enhance Microalgae Project during a visit to the Marrakech University, Morocco. During that period he had the opportunity to present EnhanceMicroAlgae project in a seminar to the university students and talk about the implications of Nagoya Protocol in biodiversity and biotechnology studies.
