Dr Claudio Fuentes Grunewald, researcher involved in WP7 of EnhanceMicroAlgae project, was invited by Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias, to give a presentation in the “Harmful Algal Biotechnology” workshop on the 22nd and 23rd of May, 2019.
Dr Fuentes Grunewald gave an interesting presentation on how to scale up microalgae culture, giving tips and suggestions to the audience. He has explained about his work growing Dinoflagellates in commercial photobioreactors, specifically highlighting his paper: “Long-term dinoflagellate culture performance in a commercial photobioreactor: Amphidinium carterae case” Bioresource Technology 218 (2016) 533–540.
