New team member working with the University of Manchester research group

The University of Manchester has welcomed Elisabeth Bermejo Padilla to the Enhance MicroAlgae research team. In order to introduce herself, we asked Elisabeth to tell us a bit about herself:

I am a researcher with a strong background working on Microalgae Biotechnology:  autotrophic growth at lab scale and lab scale photobioreactors (Infors), metabolites (carbohydrates, hydrocarbons, lipids, pigments) accumulation and analysis.

My Ph.D. Thesis was focused on the optimization of the culture media and conditions to obtain added-value products from microalgae.

I have also experience working in European Projects since I was involved as a Pre-doctoral researcher in two European Projects of the VII Framework Program  (SPLASH and MIRACLES).
